Eligibility for Services

The Center for Disability and Elder Law (CDEL) is a non-profit, legal services organization mandated to serve a specific clientele.  To be eligible for legal services from CDEL, a person must:

  • Live in Cook County, Illinois;
  • Have household income at or below one hundred fifty percent (150%) of the Federal Poverty Guidelines

        AND

  • Be sixty (60) years of age or older; or
  • Live with a permanent disability.
