CDEL’s Strategic Plan 2025-2027
Over the past year, CDEL made meaningful progress advancing its strategic priorities focused on expanding community impact, advocating for systemic change, investing in people, and building long-term organizational sustainability. Across all areas of the strategic plan, CDEL continued enhancing the lives of older adults and people with disabilities while strengthening infrastructure to support future growth.

On Friday, April 11th, 2025, 61 of CDEL’s stakeholders - including Board members, Community Partners, Court Partners, Disability Advocates, Funders, Staff, Young Professionals Board members, and Volunteers - gathered to co-create CDEL’s future in the beautiful space generously provided by CDEL Board Executive Member Andy Lillis and his firm, Katten Muchin Rosenman.
The voices of an additional 57 stakeholders - including Clients, Community Partners, Disability Advocates, Funders, and Volunteers/Interns - were represented through Stakeholder Data Summaries compiled from pre-event interviews and surveys, enriching the six “building block” planning conversations held throughout the day.
The extraordinary commitment of CDEL’s stakeholder community was made visible by their presence at this summit. The possibilities they generated for what might be – are both energetic and inspiring. The magic of engaging a broad representation of CDEL’s whole system in a positive, strength-based approach to strategic planning, was manifest in the buzz of discussions as participants laid the groundwork for acting on visions generated. We remain committed to advancing forward together with purpose, building on our progress to create lasting impact!
