Mari Solano

Law Clerk
Mari Solano (she/her/ella) is a Law Clerk at the Center for Disability & Elder Law (CDEL), where she supports multiple practice areas including guardianship, estate planning, and community outreach. In her role, Mari works closely with community members through clinics and workshops, helping educate individuals on important legal tools such as powers of attorney and access to essential resources.
Prior to joining CDEL, Mari practiced in Florida as a public interest attorney, where she worked closely with older adults on a range of legal matters. She brings a strong commitment to community-centered advocacy and is fluent in Spanish, allowing her to serve a broader range of clients with cultural competency and care.
Mari earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida International University and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she also received a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. During law school, she was honored with the Minnesota Justice Foundation Outstanding Service Award in recognition of her commitment to public service. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and is currently pursuing licensure in Illinois.
