CDEL Welcomes Two New Board Members!

In June, CDEL welcomed two new board members to the CDEL Board of Directors. Please welcome Danielle Cary and Elyse Smith! Read below to learn more about them and why they are excited to join the board!

Danielle Cary, Salesforce

Danielle Cary is a Director, Senior Corporate Counsel at Salesforce. She has been at Salesforce for five years previously as a corporate counsel. She received her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her Bachelor’s from Mount Mary University.

Both Danielle and Salesforce have been great supporters and pro bono volunteers of CDEL by volunteering across many of CDEL's programs at different workshop events. 

Why Danielle Joined CDEL’s Board: “I am honored to join the CDEL board and to work alongside such a dedicated and compassionate team. It is a privilege to deepen my support in this new capacity for an organization that makes such a tangible and meaningful difference for the community's seniors and individuals with disabilities."

Elyse Smith, Veritext Legal Solutions

Elyse Smith is a National Account Manager at Veritext Legal Solutions. She received a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University in 2010.

Veritext Legal Solutions has been a great supporter of CDEL over the years by providing financial and in-kind support. Elyse became a supporter of CDEL because of her firm's involvement and dedication to CDEL's mission.

Why Elyse Joined CDEL’s Board: "I’m honored to join the board to further support the important work CDEL does to ensure some of our most vulnerable neighbors have access to critical legal services.
